Resources for Physicians

John Curington MD

Years ago, when I first started doing vasectomies, it was difficult to find good information about the no-scalpel procedure. Over the years, though, many good resources have been published and I am sharing some here so my fellow physicians don’t have to “re-invent the wheel.”

Useful Forms

Setting up for vasectomies requires a collection of consents, counseling forms, aftercare instructions, etc. Here is a collection of these useful forms.

An Illustrated Guide for Surgeons

This is an excellent manual for learning and reviewing the technique of no-scalpel vasectomy. This manual is published by Engender Health.

No-Scalpel Vasectomy Videos

Several physicians have made their videos available. These do include images of surgery, so don't click if you are squeamish.
